2016: Obama’s America

The promos for 2016 Obama’s America  say,”You may LOVE him You may HATE him, but you don’t know him,. ” After seeing Dinesh D”sousa’s film YOU WILL KNOW HIM. This film is not a propaganda piece like the left is trying to portray it as , but consists of carefully researched, verifiable hard core facts about Obama and why he believes the way he does. I can attest to much of this film due to the fact that I’ve followed Obama so closely and am familiar with most of the facts presented here, but to the average citizen this can be a real eye-opener.

Dinesh D’sousa is avery proficient writer and lecturer from India. He came here in 1978. He was born the same year as Obama, went to college the same year, he at Dartmouth and Obama at Harvard and even got married the same year Obama did and they are both from mixed race families.

Dinesh traces Obama’s roots from his beginnings from his first father, who was a black muslim anti-colonialist and socialist who left Obama when he was two years old, his mother’s re-marriage to Lolo Sotero another socialist/muslim in Indonesia to Obama’s mother giving Obama to her parents in Hawaii to raise when he was twelve years old then heading back to Indonesia. Obama’s grandfather felt young Barack should have a mentor so he introduced him to Frankl Marshall Davis, a hard core card carrying member of the communist party. Dinesh even shows Davis’ card number. Barack’s grandfather had communist leanings also. In college Barack was influenced by Edward Said, a mid-eastern socialist professor at Columbia and later hung around with Bill Ayers, the unrepentant radical terrorist from the 60’s who bombed the pentagon, bombed the capital building in Washington D.C. and bombed the N.Y C police station and to this day was never found guilty and admits he regrets not setting off more bombs. Barack started his campaign in Ayer’s home in Chicago and it is rumored Ayers ghost-wrote Obama’s book “Dreams From My Father.” Then there is the now infamous Rev. Jeremiah (“God Damn America”) Wright who Barack was a member of his black liberation theology church for 20 years and baptized and married Obama. Obama later offered  Rev. Wright  $150,000 to keep their relationship quiet to which Wright refused.

It is these influueneces  that sharpened and molded Obama’s anti-colonial beliefs to the fact that he blames America for all the ills in the world and wants to diminish America’s influence in the world. Dinesh shows how  Obama, helped liberate Libya, but won’t help Isreal or support the  opponents of  Iran’s regime. He shows how Egypt who once was our ally is now run by the muslim brotherhood as will soon be Saudi Arabia ,Iran,Libya and Irag leaving Isreal surrounded. It is a Obama’s anti-colonial beliefs  that leads to his support of Great Britain (another colonialist empire in his mind) to give the Falkland Islands back to Argentina. “No wonder Obama returned the bust of Winston Churchill in the  Whitehouse back to England,”Dinesh says. Obama wants complete government control of our healthcare system and for us to become a socialist state by the year 2016.

The film shows how Obama wants to dismantle America showing that America once had 5000 nuclear warheads and since Obama came to office we now have 1,500 warheads and he wants us to get down to 300 warheads equal to other smaller countries. Meanwhile the other countries are building up and not taking down. Russia currently has 5000 warheads and Iran is  obtaining them and  Obama is doing nothing to stop them.

Dinesh shows how the United States is financially collapsing. The national debt from Geroge Washington to Bill Clinton was only 5 trilion. Geoge Bush and Barack Obama increased it by 10 trillion, most of that under Obama where we are now three years away from becoming Greece. Dinesh ends the film by saying “So what’s the future for America going to be? The America we now know or Obama’s America by 2016 . It’s up to you.”

Expendables 2:Macho Overload,But Lots of Fun

I’ve just returned from seeing Expendables 2 and loved every minute of it despite what most critics say. True it is way over the top and non- stop action, explosions galore and minimal plot, but it’s not supposed to be taken seriously and all the characters perform with tongue firmly in cheek and with macho excess and lots of laughs among the mayhem.

The story finds Sylvestor Stallone and his band of psychotic mercenaries featuring   Jason Statham, Dolph  Lundgren, Terry Crews, Jet Li, Randy Couture and newcomers  Liam Hensworth and Yu Nan. Add to that Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwartzeneggar, Chuck Norris and Jan Claude van Damme as the bad guy for once.

The plot is simple. Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) a highly secretive CIA agent, recruits  Stallone’s  gang to repay a debt he owes him and to find six tons of weapons grade plutonium hidden in a mine in the Ukraine left over from the cold war that could change the balance of power in the world and find it before it falls into the wrong hands.

On their way the ragtag crew of death and destruction encounter Claude Van Damme playing a ruthless, sadistic mercenary with his own army planning on getting to the plutonium and selling It to the highest bidder. When one of Stallone’s crew is killed in their encounters by Van Damme’s crew you can imagine what happens. Bullets fly everywhere with them in the middle and nobody being hit while bad guys get blown to bits.

It’s  fun seeing  Chuck Norris and Arnold popping up when you least expect it and making their small roles seem larger. There are great lines thrown out to the audience with a wink. Such lines as when Arnold and Bruce Willis are ducking for cover from hailing bullets, Arnold says to him,” You stay here I’LL  BE BACK” referring to his classic line from Terminator. Willis replies, “You’ve been back enough I’ll go.” As he goes Arnold says to him.  “yippiee  Ki  Yay” from Willis’  Did Hard character. When they see a dilapidated old plane they have to fly Stallone says ‘that should be in a museum” to which Arnold replies, “We all should.”  Look for a great fight to the finish between Stallone and Van Damme.

Liam Hensworth is the brother of Chris Hemsworth who appeared as Thor in the recent Avengers movie. It’s a fun, over the top movie with a line of macho stars you’ll never see the likes of again. Check it out.

Obama Says He’s Not Dividing the Country???

“We’re going around the country, talking about, ‘How do we put people back to work? How do we improve our schools? How do we make sure that we’re producing American energy? How do we lower our debt in a responsible way?’ And I don’t think you or anybody who’s been watching the campaign would say that in any way we have tried to divide the country. We’ve always tried to bring the country together,” President Obama said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

I guess Obama has been living in the Washington political bubble surrounded by secret service security guards that he can’t see the country for the people. I remember when Bill Clinton first got in the white house he said ,”I never realized how easy it was to get cut off from the American people. So it must be with Obama or he’s just covering up again his plan to destroy this country and set up his marxist /socialist state.

Obama has divided the country like never before. Here’s five reasons  how:

1)      He has divided us with his class warfare saying the rich   have more than you and it’s not fair they have more so he spreads his “tax the rich” rhetoric. Remember how he told Joe the Plumber he wanted to tax the rich and spread it around to bring people up to a more equal level? His recent insulting comment to successful people who started their own business saying “You didn’t build that” is a perfect example.

2)     Ethnically and racially- Have you noticed how he ignores   slights against white people but favors those against darker complected   people? For instance his justice dept. has ignored a case of the new Black Panther Party intimidating white people at a polling place on election  day. He’s also saying negative things about out strong ally  Isreal  and  dissed  Netanyahu when he came here to visit him. Obama was brought up in Rev. Wright’s church which   often preached anti-semitism. Obama also gave a billion dollars to the muslim brotherhood in Egypt which is  stating it wants Sharia law for the country now.

3)     Politically he’s dividing everyone by blaming republicans for not getting anything done even though he had complete control of  both the Senate and House during his fir t two years. He also blames  Tsunamis, the Arab Spring, ATM machines and floods  and draughts for him not getting anything done.

4)     Morally he is dividing us with his redistribution of wealth ideas and going to  middle east countries  apologizing for us and calling us dismissive and arrogant towards them. He canceled the traditional World Day of Prayer in favor of a Muslim day of prayer one year in the whitehouse.

5)     Socially-He has aligned himself with the Occupy movement which is filled with young, anarchists, revolutionaries and communists who are against the corporations that make up our society and destroy it to make it closer to their  own hearts and desires.

These are the changes he was talking about when he first  started out. Very dangerous  indeed.

I recently saw an essay written by someone called Wolfgang Riggins written Nov.11th which stated ,  “He knows that as things get worse the American public is more and more likely to look to government to solve its problems, and so he will systematically divide us until we fall; and then predictably cry out to government to “fix” it, easily trading away our freedoms.

His words are of the feel good variety, they are soothing, seductive and pleasant to listen to, but they hide the stark reality of his true intentions and ultimate goals. His platitudes of social justice, and fairness will require you to surrender your liberty to an ever growing and ever more powerful government.”

“The greatest tyrannies are always perpetrated in the name of the noblest causes.”– Thomas Paine

We’ve always prided ourselves  ina country that is free with a two party system that governs  for the good of the people and listening tto them. I’m afraid we have been losing that concept as we give up more and more of our freedoms to big government people in both parties trusting them for handouts and to take care of us. No great country has lasted more than a little over 200 years. We are now  almost 242 years old and on our way to be the next Greece if we don’t wake up.

OBAMA: I Don’t Think Anyone Would Suggest I’ve Tried To Divide The Country…

Mitt Takes the Gloves Off-Scores a Bullseye

The gloves are off and Team Romney has scored a bullseye .  While in Ohio giving a speech Romney made a bold statement saying ,“Mr. President, take your  politics of hate and division back to Chicago.”

Romney went on to say,””His campaign and his surrogates have made wild and reckless accusations that disgrace the office of the presidency. Another outrageous charge came a few hours ago in Virginia. And the White House sinks a little bit lower,” Romney said.

“This is an election in which we should be talking about the path ahead, but you don’t hear any answers coming from President Obama’s reelection campaign. That’s because he’s intellectually exhausted, out of ideas and out of energy. And so his campaign has resorted to diversions and distractions, to demagoguing and defaming others. This is an old game in politics; what’s different this year is that the president is taking things to a new low.” Romney needs Ohio to win as no candidate has ever won the presidency without taking Ohio.

So far Obama’s campaign has been nothing but attacks and falling to new lows every day. He has no real accomplishments to run on so all h e can do is attack and that turns voters off.  What’s he going to run on?  The  economy and unemployment?  He can’t do that with unemployment at 8.2% for 43 straight months after Bush left it at 4.5%. The national debt? He can’t run on that after adding almost   six trillion in three years after chastising Bush for adding four trillion in 8 years. Gas prices?  He can’t  run on that after Bush left us with gas at $1.69 a gallon and now gas prices have soared to almost $4 a gallon again especially when Obama gave Brazil building permits to build three pumping stations off their coast so we’ll buy oil  from them. Healthcare?  ( which I wish government would keep their hands off of) The majority of people said they are against his government mandate, especially one that has your doctor having to consult with a government bureaucrat to decide who gets what much needed procedure and what medication or not depending on your age.

Obama has another thing going against him, his own VP Joe (foot in mouth ) Biden. Yesterday in Virginia Biden was campaigning saying Team Romney was going to” unchain Wall Street and put ya’ll back in chains.”  It was Biden who told a paraplegic soldier to stand up and take a bow at a rally once. It was Biden who said “you can’t walk into a 7 Eleven or Dunkin Doughnuts without hearing an Indian accent” and other famous gaffes that the media likes to cover up. Look what they did to Sarah Palin, slicing and dicing her coverage in tv interviews making her look like a complete dunce when she wasn’t. Don’t forget it was Obama who said he’s been to all 57 states too.

Even former Mayor Rudy Guiliani  on Larry Kudlow’s show when asked about Biden’s  ‘put you back in chains’ statement that has racial overtones Guiliani replied that he didn’t think Biden has the mental capacity to be president saying,” Well, I think if it came from somebody serious maybe we’d get all excited about it. But the — I think the vice president of the United States has become a laugh line on late night television. I mean, he — I’ve never seen a vice president that has made as many mistakes, said as many stupid things. I mean, there’s a real fear if, God forbid, he ever had to be entrusted with the presidency, whether he really has the mental capacity to handle it. I mean, this guy just isn’t bright. He’s never been bright. He isn’t bright. And people think, ‘Well, he just talks a little too much.’ Actually he’s just not very smart.”

Yes sir, the VP debates are going to be fun to watch. I predict a melt down by Biden especially when going against a much younger, more articulate and energetic person like Paul Ryan who has brains, brawn and good looks to match. 😉

And They’re Off and Running

Team Romney is off to a rousing start like a steam roller going full speed and the media and team Obama is shaking in their boots and it shows.  In High Point, North Carolina,10,000 people showed up to greet Romney and Ryan while Biden only drew a crowd of 600. Another 10,000 showed up in Florida. So many showed up there that the handlers couldn’t keep track of the people they had to turn away. Let’s hope they can keep up the momentum.  In Chicago Obama, had another fund raiser (what else does he do?) and they only charged $51 and he couldn’t fill the place. You know the dems are getting desperate when they invite Jimmy Carter to their convention to speak via video.

Meanwhile Obama still clinging to his rigid leftist ideology  making the rounds saying he stands for “a new America where prosperity is shared.” In other words he’s still for sharing the wealth and spreading it around.  He was speaking in Iowa to farmers stricken by the drought conditions there and said  republicans were being obstructionists in standing in the way of blocking a farm bill that would help the farmers. I saw part of his speech and he was stuttering and stammering without his teleprompter saying foolish things like, “ We’re  going to buy food from you farmers ,and uh, uh, freeze it, and uh, we have a lot of freezers and save it  to distribute to people who  need it.”  I couldn’t believe what  I was hearing and people actually buy into this claptrap.  Paul Ryan was also in Iowa to counter act Obama and said they were  “promising  equal opportunity not equal outcomes” which is how it should be.

Romney and Ryan are two good looking dudes with brains and brawn to match. Romney is a longtime businessman who started companies like Staples and Sports Authority  and knows how to meet a budget, (something he could show Obama about since he hasn’t released one in three years now) he knows how to maintain a payroll and manage people and business . Obama has never worked a real job in his life and was a community organizer, a liberal lawyer for a short time and a senator for only 100 days where he just voted “present.” Ryan is a great looking guy with boyish looks and faithful to his family and job. Ryan has been known to sleep in h is office during the week and come home to his family on week-ends and not rent some fancy D.C. apartment at the taxpayers’ expense like so many politicians.  He’s bright, articulate and can relate to the average citizen.

In my previous blog I mentioned that  Romney and Ryan have to take the gloves off and show strong arm initiative and that’s just what they are doing. This is the most important election ever. It’s not just republican vs. democrat anymore but freedom vs. Government control of your life in other words freedom vs. socialism.  As  of now the polls  are too close to consider and with the House now suing Holder over the fast and furious gun running scandal that couldn’t come at a more inopportune time for Obama. It’s going to be a close, heated  election .  As Rush Limbaugh so aptly recently stated, “if we were a politically  informed population Obama wouldn’t stand  a chance, but we’re not. We’re an emotionally charged population and therein lies the problem.” Let’s hope Romney and Ryan can overcome that. So far it’s looking  great guys. 😉

Romney and Ryan: A New Spark

Now that Romney has picked Paul Ryan as his running mate, it’s time to show some initiative,  strong  arm initiative.  Actually Ryan would not be my first choice as I was hoping for Marco Rubio. He would appeal to the Hispanic  voters  and younger voters which Romney desperately  needs, but to paraphrase what  they used to say on the old Hollywood Squares  show (for those of you that remember it) “I would have gone with Marco Rubio to block, but this may work out.” 😀

Pundits say Ryan is strong and outspoken and shows real leadership. Now is the time for team Romney to take the gloves off. They can’t go around being mister nice guy like republicans are so prone to do. He can’t be Mr. Milquetoast. They can’t  go around saying Obama’s a nice guy, but they just disagree with his policies like I’ve heard republicans say before. That’s a sure sign of losing. Obama’s not a nice guy. This is the guy who when he first became president went over to the middle  east and blasted us calling the U.S. dismissive and arrogant towards them. This is the guy who’s surrogates said Mrs. Romney never worked a day in her life. This is the group that made fun of Mrs. Romney for riding a horse as part of her MS therapy. This is the group who did an ad with a Paul Ryan look- a-like throwing granny off a cliff. Now they’ll probably do commercials with a Ryan and Romney look-a-like stabbing granny, beating up granny and then throwing her off a cliff. They already did a similar on with Alan West beating up a woman.

No they can’t be  Mr. Nice guy with going against this bunch. Since they are attacking Romney’s taxes he should throw it back at them about Treasury secretary Tim Geitner not paying his. They should make their campaign more positive while pointing out the failures of Obama’s four years. Show them how Obama  added  5 trillion in new debt in three and a half years after chastising Bush for adding 4 trillion in 8 years. They should emphasize  the 43 months of unemployment at 8.2 % after Bush’s 4.5 % at the end of his term. Show them how Obama has played 102 rounds of golf since he’s been in office, more than any other president and attended 202 fund raisers while 361,000 new unemployment claims were filed and he’s gone on more vacations than any other president and most  people.

I realize that it’s difficult   to make people believe in your promises since people are used to politicians promising things to get elected and then doing what they want after they get into office like Obama is doing, but this is what they are up against.  Hope and change gave way to hype and lies and this is what Romney and Ryan have to show the people. Besides as Ann Coulter recently so humorously put it, ”Romney and Ryan are  a good promotion for hair products. :D.” Something you can’t say about Obama and Biden.

The Need For More Gun Control?

“The lunatics are in my hall/ the paper holds their folded faces to the floor/ and every day  the paperboy  brings more.”- Pink  Floyd.

The above quote from   Pink Floyd’s classic Dark Side of the Moon album is quite real today giving recent events in all our lives. The lunatics are certainly out there and the media is giving them plenty of coverage.

First we had Jared Loughner who open fired on a political outing by Senator Gabby Giffords in Tucson, Arizona in 2011 killing six people including a federal judge and a nine year old girl. He wounded 14 others including Gifford   who was shot in the head and a special assistant to her. In a recent jailhouse interview by his court appointed psychiatrist, Loughner , who  was heavily medicated on psychiatric drugs showed no remorse as he said Gifford  deserved to die and was surprised she survived a bullet to the head. Sorry Jared, you are the one who deserves to die. When a person serves notice on society that they are no longer fit to be among us like you, they should be done away with accordingly.  Jared has agreed to a deal to plead  guilty before a judge thus sparing him the death penalty and living the rest of his natural life in prison with no parole.

Next we have James Holmes, the 24 year old neuroscience genius student  at the University of Colorado  who walked into a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado showing  The Dark Knight Rises and open fired on a theater full of people using  gas bombs and killed 12 people and wounded 58. He is being charged with 24 counts of murder and 116 counts of attempted murder. The prosecution intends to seek the death penalty.

Now we have Wade Michael Page, 40 years old who open  fired on a Sikh temple in Wisconsin and killed six people before a police officer killed him. The heavily tattooed maniac was a member of a white supremacist   skinhead group and played in white supremacist rock bands. Police are still wondering what the motive was other than the fact Page hated muslims and they think he thought sikhs were muslims.

Whenever incidents like this occur,  politicians   and the public immediately clamor for more stringent gun laws. In New York, Governor Andrew Cuomo vowed to pass new state laws  to crack down on illegal gun use and violence.  The answer is not   to pass new gun laws, but just enforce the existing ones.  Currently  there are 300 state gun laws as of 1999 defining those that manufacture, design, sale, purchase and possession. If you count local, state and federal laws the number rises to 20,000 laws. How many more laws do we need?

Gun control opponents often cite the example of the Nazi regime, claiming that once the Nazis had taken and consolidated their power, they proceeded to implement gun control laws to disarm the population and wipe out the opposition, and the genocide of disarmed Jews, gypsies, and other “undesirables” followed.

As folksinger Bob Dylan once said , ”And who really is responsible for one man carrying a gun? Surely it’s impossible that it’s   him.”
