The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse Unleashed

16 Oct

A few blogs back I wrote a blog asking if we are in the end of times. Well I did further research and what I found is chilling indeed. I want to reiterate that although I consider myself a good Christian  and  God fearing person I am not a religious fanatic or bible quoting person, but do believe things quoted in the bible after doing extensive research are indeed coming true.

The other day when reading an article about the ebola outbreak and panic I saw a comment by a person saying this is the fourth horsemen being unleashed. I always heard about the four horsemen of the apacolypse  and now with advent of Google I decided to look them up and here is what I found:

Question: “Who are the four horsemen of the apocalypse?”

Answer:The four horsemen of the Apocalypse are described in Revelation chapter 6, verses 1-8. The four horsemen are symbolic descriptions of different events which will take place in the end times. The first horseman of the Apocalypse is mentioned inRevelation 6:2: “I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.” This first horseman likely refers to the Antichrist, who will be given authority and will conquer all who oppose him. The antichrist is the false imitator of the true Christ, who will also return on a white horse (Revelation 19:11-16).
Opinions differ on whether the first horseman, riding the white horse, represents Christ or the False Prophet. The white color of the first horse could mean victory, because generals of that time often rode white horses after they had won a battle or war. The crown that its rider wore was a kind of prize awarded for service in a war. The bow that he carried could be a symbol of an enemy at that time, the Parthians, who were famous for their archery. Some commentators have thought it significant, however, that no arrows are mentioned.

The second horseman of the Apocalypse appears inRevelation 6:4, “Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.” The second horseman refers to terrible warfare that will break out in the end times. The third horseman is described inRevelation 6:5-6, “…and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, ‘A quart of wheat for a day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!’” The third horseman of the Apocalypse refers to a great famine that will take place, likely as a result of the wars from the second horseman. The red color of the second horse could mean bloody war, and the sword held by the rider could symbolize war and violence. The black color of the third horse could be a symbol of death and famine. Its rider was holding a scale, which means scarcity of food, higher prices, and famine.

The fourth horseman is mentioned inRevelation 6:8, “I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.” The fourth horseman of the Apocalypse is symbolic of death and devastation. It seems to be a combination of the previous horsemen. The fourth horseman of the Apocalypse will bring further warfare and terrible famines along with awful plagues and diseases. What is most amazing, or perhaps terrifying, is that the four horsemen of the Apocalypse are just “precursors” of even worse judgments that come later in the tribulation (Revelation chapters 8–9 and 16).
The pale greenish color of the fourth horse means fear, sickness, decay, and death.

As you can see the first horseman represents the anti-christ which I don’t think has come yet even though some have suggested Obama is the anti-christ. He may come close as when he  first came out everyone was enamored with him and he was hell bent on the destruction of this country under the banner of “hope and change” and “transforming the country” and telling the world we are no longer a Christian nation, but I don’t think it’s him.

The second horseman refers to the wars that will break out in the end of times. The bible refers to it as kingdom against kingdom. We have Isreal and Palestine firing rockets at each other.  Russia going after the Ukraine. The U.S bombing ISIS in Iraq and Syria which has been going on for  ten years now. ISIS taking over city after city in Iraq and desiring a worldwide caliphate beheading anyone who doesn’t conform to Islam men, women and even children.

The third horseman refers to all the famine that will take place as a result of the wars from the second horseman. Now with the outbreak of ebola the UN is warning of global famine and said the world has 60 days to come up with a cure or there will be global deaths and famine and the Washington Post is warning that the threat of the virus might interfere with commerce and daily routines.

The third horseman ties in with the fourth horseman who unleashes along with famine and wars plagues. The current ebola scare and entrovirus from illegal kids coming across our border and being distributed throughout our country without being checked and over a hundred people a day coming from these third world countries where elbola is prevalent is an example of the fourth horseman being unleashed. You can’t deny these things are happening. I know I must sound like some doomsayer or preacher using scare tactics, but I assure you I AM NOT. It’s just one man’s opinion.   Actually No one knows when the world will come to an end,but it wouldn’t hurt to be prepared — intellectually, emotionally, and even spiritually.
