Trump hit Assad Hard. America’s position on gassing civilians has been made clear to the world. It will NOT be tolerated. The Obama approach of yap loudly and do nothing about it is over.
When our President speaks. Actions will now follow. Trump shows that he’s willing to act quickly and forcefully when needed. Yes there’s a new sheriff in town and he’s tough and the world and these wimpy snowflakes better get used to it!! After reading both sides I think he did the right thing. During his campaign Trump kept saying he wouldn’t announce if he was going to attack an area because that’s the mistake Obama made in pulling out of places like Mosul in Iraq. He announced weeks ahead of time he was pulling troops out of an area and the enemy waited for him to leave then moved in. Trump is all for the element of surprise if you expect to win. As one comment I saw so eloquently put it, “Trump was playing 3-D chess while everyone else was playing checkers.” As you may or may not know thanks to the mainstream left wing destroy Trump media, Trump ‘s a very compassionate man and he said in his speech. “No child of God should have to endure such agony.”Seeing those films of little babies, children and young men and women suffering made him react like he did. When you see the footage here that Trump saw you too will want to go in there and do something. 92M VIEWS: Here’s The Vicious VIRAL VIDEO From Syria That TRIGGERED Trump (VER
It’s not like Trump bombed a whole area and killed thousands of men, women and children. No it was an air force base that housed many of Assad’s WMD’s which were cans of deadly sarin gas. He warned the Russians who were stationed there to get out of the way because we were going to attack. When you are exposed to Sarin gas it is one of the most slow, agonizing, painful deaths one can experience. Assad had previously told Obama he got rid of all his WMD’s and now we find he lied and still had them and planned to use them again like he did here. We have vital interests in that area along with our allies Isreal and Jordan. If Trump did nothing the liberals like George Clooney who is a leftist activist for that area would attack him for not doing anything. Now that he did something they attack him anyway saying he’s bringing us into WW111 because Russians back Assad and now have a battleship in the Syrian waters ready to go against the ships that fired the missiles.
The problem with Syria is it’s a double edged sword sort of speak. The rebels who we support against Assad are made up of Al-Queda and we support them here, but fight them In Iraq. Sort of like the saying, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” This is what Hillary and Obama were doing secretly sending weapons to the rebels to oppose Assad that caused the ambassador in Benghazi to expose them when he was killed. Trump is in quite a quandary with people on both sides of the aisle opposing him now. I think all those years under Obama turning our friends into enemies and enemies into friends and talking loudly, but not doing anything caused everyone to be spineless wimps. People like Rand Paul are saying he acted unconstitutionally and should have consulted congress first, (Under the Constitution, Paul noted correctly in a Friday interview, the president only has the authority to attack a nation unilaterally when the U.S. faces an imminent threat),but are forgetting Obama did the same thing In Libya. He went in there without consulting congress first and overthrew Kadaffi just as he was beginning to side with us and giving us valuable information. He even turned his nukes over to us. To say this is unconstitutional is walking a fine line, because this is not a declaration of war for Trump to consult congress. Perhaps as kelly Anne said, “This is a warning to other rouge nations like North Korea and Syria and even Russia that we mean business and won’t fool around.”
Nikki Haley the U.N. ambassador said today that “We are prepared to do more, but hope it won’t have to come to that.”
Marco Rubio on the other hand supports Trump on this action, So, as I said, I think this is an important decisive step that was taken. It is not a message. It is an actual degrading of the capability of the Syrian regime to carry out further chemical attacks against innocent civilians. This will degrade their capability to launch those attacks from the air, and I think it was an important step, and hopefully it’s part of a comprehensive strategy moving forward to bring to a close this chaos is happening in Syria.”
Rubio concluded, “[T]onight’s actions show that the days of being able to act with impunity are over, when it comes to Bashar al-Assad, and that there is now an American president prepared to do what it takes to ensure that he does not have the capability — or that his capability to conduct these sorts of heinous war crimes is diminished and that he’s held accountable.”
To be honest though, Trump blames the previous administration for inheriting this mess, but he himself had warned Obama several times not to get involved in Syria and now he just did. Maybe now he sees things differently, especially when he saw that video of babies and little kids and young women being gassed. Things are always different when you are on the outside looking in than actually being on the inside.
Yes it’s a dangerous world we live in and Trump knows it and is doing his best to protect the American people and our vital interests overseas that have been neglected for the past eight years. To win in the world today you have to attack your enemy without notice before they attack you. This is what Trump meant when he said he would not give notice before a military movement during his campaign.
