Bundy Was Right…Sort Of

  

A comment by embattled Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy about blacks and slavery was taken out of context by the New York Times, according to Bundy’s son, Ammon Bundy, who told WND in an interview Thursday his father was trying to reach out to the black and Hispanic communities.

“They took what they wanted. They knew when they were there his comments were not racist. He wasn’t able to completely articulate,” Ammon Bundy told WND. “That’s just my dad. He is a very principled person.”

The Times, in a report by Adam Nagourney, said Cliven Bundy, in a daily meeting Saturday with reporters and photographers covering his case, made the comments that critics are calling racist.

“I want to tell you one more thing I know about the Negro,” Nagourney quoted Bundy saying.

Bundy was recalling public housing projects in North Las Vegas.

“And in front of that government house, the door was usually open and the older people and the kids – and there is always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch – they didn’t have nothing to do. They didn’t have nothing for their kids to do. They didn’t have nothing for their young girls to do.

“And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do? They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And I’ve often wondered, are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy? They didn’t get no more freedom. They got less freedom.”

Ammon Bundy told WND: “I was there standing right beside my father when he made those comments. He was reaching out to the black community.”

He explained his father was commenting on the fact that while blacks were “in slavery on plantations, now because of the welfare system, they continue to be in slavery.”

Sean Hannity who is one of Bundy’s ardent supporters was quick to ostracize Bundy for his racist remarks saying  Bundy’s views are “repugnant,” and they give ammunition to those who try to label all Republicans racists.

Bundy clarified his remarks later on the Peter Schiff radio show.He told The Peter Schiff Show he was “wondering” if blacks are better off now than they were under slavery.

“I said I’m wondering if they’re better off under government subsidy and the young women are having abortions, their young men are in jail and their older women and children are sitting out on the cement porch without nothing to do,” Bundy told Schiff.

“I’m wondering are they happier now under this government subsidy system than they were when they were slaves and they were able to have their family structure together and chickens and doggies and the people have something to do.

“In my mind, I’m wondering are they better off being slaves in that sense or better off being slaves to the United States government in the sense of subsidy.”

Recently Shawna Cox,Bundy’s secretary was asked the question if Bundy was racist and she replied,” “Of course not!” she replied strongly, regarding racism, adding, “We believe slavery is horrible! Friday night we are actually planning a party and specifically inviting blacks and Latinos,” said Cox. “We started planning this party way before these comments were made.”

Cox told WND that after last Friday’s party, Bundy began asking why it was that not many blacks or Latinos were present. So the controversial rancher met with some of the minorities in the community on Monday or Tuesday, she said, to reach out to them and invite them to today’s party.

“I know the man. He’s a God-fearing man,” she said. “This is a really good man who loves and cares about all people,” she added with conviction. Cox insists Bundy was “trying to reach out to [blacks]” in his comments. However, she said, “we’re cowboys we don’t always say things exactly right.

Now before anyone calls me racist, I agree with Bundy. Today more people are on government subsidies than ever before and Obama has increased that dependency on government. Some 50 million people are on food stamps and welfare. Most of those are minorities. As long as they are on the subsidies that stifles ambition in them and they sit around and wait for the government to supply them. Dependence on the government is slavery so in that sense Bundy was right. I agree with this comment I saw to an article  about  Bundy’s remarks:

So being truthful is now “racist”? He is mostly correct in that we have a lot more slavery in this country now than prior to the Civil War, and not just black folks, but many other colors as well. When the government provides all your needs, then you are a slave – you will obey for fear of losing some freebie.

Recently Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi were saying how it is a good thing to be unemployed and unemployment helps the economy. Pelosi told people that since they were not working they were now free to write that book they always wanted or paint that great masterpiece they always wanted and do many other things that a job kept them from because the government will support them. Isn’t that socialism? Isn’t that slavery?  How come nobody criticized   them when they said things like people shouldn’t work?  It’s more double standard from the liberal mainstream press like the NYT.  If  Bundy was a liberal democrat or Hollywood celebrity saying that you can be sure the media would be saying, “You know, they are right. We do have a problem here,” but since it was Bundy who is a conservative and very principled man and a FOX News supporter he’s labeled a racist.

I also want to ask where were  the animal rights activists when government agents shot Bundy’s cows and bulls and buried them on his land for no reason other than sport and bullying and happy trigger fingers. Yes where were you guys hmmmmmm?

Essex County Cherry Blossom Festival

Every year in April Branch Brook Park, America’s oldest county park, located in the Bloomfield,-Newark area in Essex county New Jersey sponsors their annual cherry blossom festival. The park has approximately 4,300 cherry trees with 5000 more planned for next year with their gorgeous white and pink cherry blossoms in full bloom and attracts people from all over the state and surrounding states. The festival itself includes a 10K run, various vendors selling little trinkets and balloons, various artists selling their wares, concerts by choral groups, park tours, a bike run and some local bands. This year because of the extra long cold weather the festival was held as scheduled, but there were no blossoms until almost two weeks later. It was then that my wife and I decided to go and we couldn’t have picked a better time. It was on a Monday and not a cloud in the sky and a refreshing 70 degrees.

The park itself is several miles wide with roads curving in and out and around so people park everywhere. You can’t get near the place on week-ends as there is so much traffic and every available parking space is taken up so we decided to go during the week. There is a visitors’ center with a big parking lot and a smaller parking lot just outside over the mound next to it. We parked in the smaller one in the outer space and walked in. It was on a Monday and we figured there wouldn’t be many people there, but we forgot that school is out now so a lot of families were there, but not so much as to ruin a perfectly beautiful day.

The blossoms were in full bloom and it felt like you were in a fantasy land. There were skate boarders, people on roller blades, an artist painting a picture of the blossoms, young couples walking hand in hand, people walking their dogs, photographers and every one posing their kids and each other  among the blossoms and everyone had  a friendly smile or a friendly ‘hello’  for you. It is truly breath taking and we always look forward to the festival every year. Check out some of the pictures we took here and see for yourself.

 

POPE PELOSI WASHES FEET OF IMMIGRANTS…

When Obama recently met with the Pope, the Pope gave him a set of rosary beads he personally blessed for him. So what does Obama do with them? The moment he got back here, the first thing he did was give them to Nancy Pelosi. What an insult, but insulting this country is nothing new to this muslim squatting in our white house. It was like he was saying, ”Here Nancy you can have them I have no use for them.” If anyone received such a once in a lifetime gift they would hold onto it for dear life, but not this guy. He gives it away.

Now during Easter week the Pope washed the feet of the disabled in Rome. Here Nancy Pelosi follows suit by washing the feet of two immigrant children in a church and uses it as a photo op to defend HR15, the immigration reform bill pending in congress saying,“It would reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship.” She told the congregation.

What a fake, phony, hypocritical fraud. One minute she’s beating the war drums to get us involved in a war with Syria, and defending the NSA and CIA spying on Americans, and the next minute she’s the pious Catholic. Can you imagine if Laura Bush or some republican woman did this?  Can you imagine the outcry from the left about separation of church and state? This woman is the biggest proponent of abortion which kills millions of babies each year and here she is in a church mixing religion and politics which the left is always criticizing the right for doing. She should be ex-communicated. Let’s see what Jesus thinks about all of this when she stands before his final judgment seat to determine whether she is worthy of heaven, or damned to hell.

Hey Nancy how is HR15 going to reduce the deficit by a trillion dollars and secure our borders? We heard that in Obamcare too. How it was only going to cost 9 billion dollars and so far it is at 2 trillion and climbing. Obama himself has added seven trillion to the debt. To paraphrase Ms. Pelosi,” I guess they’ll just have to pass it to know what’s in it. 😀

Sean Hannity’s Conservative Solutions for America

Recently Donald Trump appeared with Sean Hannity on Sean’s TV show. Sean told Donald his plan to save America and Donald wholeheartedly agreed. Sean’s plan is also outlined in an article in World Net Daily which I have linked below.

“I am suggesting that America is at a tipping point, and is a country in desperate need of a major course correction. It is self-evident that government today has become an increasing burden. Government is now an obstacle in people’s lives, obstructing the pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness.”

Stipulating that he is neither calling for “abolishing the government or secession,” nor advocating a third party, he cites Ronald Regan’s 1975 speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference calling for a “revitalized second party, with no pale pastels, but bold colored differences.”

In that spirit, Hannity’s plan, outlined in his “Conservative Solutions Caucus 2014,” includes the following:

• Cut a penny from every dollar the government spends for six years, which will result in a balanced budget;
• Pass a balanced-budget amendment to keep it that way;
• Limit the amount of taxes the government can collect;
• Encourage home-grown energy resources, conquering in one fell swoop unemployment, high energy prices and dependence on hostile foreign powers;
• Replace Obamacare with health-care savings accounts so people can use the money to buy their own insurance in the private market;
• Enact term limits: six years in the House, with only one term in leadership, and 12 years in the Senate with only two years in leadership;
• Allow school choice; and
• Secure the borders.

The penny plan for balancing the budget

In describing America’s troubled economy, Hannity goes beyond figures and balance sheets, framing it as the “moral issue of our time.”

“We are literally stealing from our children and grandchildren. We are taking a sledgehammer to their piggy banks, removing any spare change, and borrowing even more money from countries like China. They will end up spending their entire working lives paying this money back, unless we do something bold today.”

He cites the record national debt of more than $17 trillion, $90 trillion in unfunded liabilities, record deficits, the impending bankruptcy of Social Security and Medicare, the lowest labor participation rate America has seen in decades and nearly 1 in 6 Americans living in poverty, among other problems.

I agree with Sean’s plan and it makes a lot of sense but the problem is all of these are simple common sense solutions. Which is why they will never be enacted. Those in power never vote themselves out of power.

Range War in the Great American Heartland-Something is Uneasy in the Air

And we’re swallowed up in the great American Heartland / where cowboy truckers ride the diesel mares / where greasers carry guns in the all night diners / and the old west hasn’t died out anywhere / Something is uneasy in the air——-Tom Pacheco: “Swallowed Up in the Great American Heartland.”

By now everyone is familiar with the standoff between the government and its’ citizens in Harry Reid’s Nevada with rancher Cliven Bundy. The government claims Bundy owes a million dollars on back grazing fees with his cattle and is on land designated for a protected tortoise species. Bundy claims it is not federal land, but state land and his family has been on that land since 1870 and  he should be grandfathered in and not pay any fees since he’s been there before the Bureau of Land Management (BLM)  even existed.  Cliven has not paid any fees and says he is willing to pay state and county fees, but not federal fees.  Cliven also says his cattle has not tread on any turtles and in fact cattle go around the turtles when they see them.

The government sent snipers and trucks and agents down on Bundy’s ranch and tasered   his son and pushed around and manhandled his sister. Local and state militias and people from other states arrived at Bundy’s ranch in support of him and a stand off between the government and its’ citizens ensued with government eventually pulling out. Yes as Tom Pacheco says in his song, “Something is uneasy in the air.”

According to an Associated Press report,  BLM, officials say “escalating tensions” led them to not only stop rounding up approximately 900 of Bundy’s cattle, but also release all 400 or so head already seized on public land the feds say Bundy can no longer use for grazing his herd.

That’s the outside story the media is reporting, but it goes much deeper than that.  We were allowed to know the connection between a communist Chinese wind/solar power plant and its connection to that senator named Harry Reid. Evidently a plan had been hatched to use the Bundy property for a solar farm and instead of paying the Bundys, someone, somewhere in the administration believed it was easier to just take what they wanted. 

On Jan. 20, 2013, Jerome Corsi in WND (World Net Daily) warned Chinese government-backed economists were proposing a plan to allow Chinese corporations to set up “development zones” in the United States as part of a plan proposed by the Chinese government to convert into equity the more than $1 trillion in U.S. Treasury debt owned by the Chinese government.

The next day, Jan. 21, 2013, WND documented the Obama administration had begun to allow China to acquire major ownership interests in oil and natural gas resources across the U.S.A.in states such as Colorado, Texas, Louisiana, Ohio, Wyoming,  Miichigan and Oklahoma.

The first major intrusion of China in the U.S. oil and natural gas market can be traced to the Obama administration decision in October 2009 to allow state-owned Chinese energy giant China Offshore Oil Corporation, or CNOOC, to purchase a multi-million dollar stake in 600,000 acres of South Texas oil and gas fields.

By allowing China to have equity interests in U.S. oil and natural gas production, the Obama administration reversed a policy of the Bush administration that in 2005 blocked China on grounds of national security concerns from a $18.4-billion dollar deal in which China planned to purchase California-based Unocal Corp.

China’s two, giant, state-owned oil companies acquiring oil and natural gas interests in the USA are CNOOC, 100-percent owned by the government of the People’s Republic of China, and Sinopec Group, the largest shareholder of Sinopac Corporation, an investment company owned by the government of the People’s Republic of China, incorporated in China in 1998, largely to acquire and operate oil and natural gas interests worldwide.

YES THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE FED UP!!!! They’ve had it with Obama’s big government oppression in their lives. They’ve had it with his NSA spying and their freedom’s and privacy rights being taken away. The American revolution started with the Boston tea party protesting against King George’s oppressive ways. Maybe the current tea party can start a second American revolution against Obama’s oppression.

Why do you think the government brought up all those billions of hollow point bullets? It’s either  so the people can’t buy ammunition in preparation  to take away their guns just as Hitler did or it’s to use against the American people when the revolution comes. In any event, something is uneasy in the air. What’s next?

Captain America:The Winter Soldier

 

I’ve just returned from seeing Marvel’s latest Captain America film called “Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It is a grand spectacle and interesting story with way, way over the top special effects.

According to Wikepedia: Captain America is an American fictional character, a superhero who appears in comic bookspublished by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in Captain America Comics #1 (cover-dated March 1941) from Marvel Comics’ 1940s predecessor, Timely Comics, and was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. Captain America has been the alter ego of Steve Rogers, a frail young man who was enhanced to the peak of human perfection by an experimental serum, in order to aid the United States government’s imminent efforts in World War II. Captain America wears a costume that bears an American flag motif, and is armed with a nearly indestructible shield that can be used for defense and can also be thrown as aweapon.^[2] Captain America was a WW 11 soldier  whose plane crashed in the Artic   somewhere and his body was frozen and found intact 70 years later. He is thawed out and becomes a member of the super hero team S.H.I.E.L.D. headed by Nick Fury played by Samuel Jackson.

In this incarnation the Germans have created a logorithm during WW 11 and hidden in caverns deep beneath WashingtonD.C. ground that can read a person’s background and thereby tell their future. This program has been hijacked by evil forces in the government particularly a Dr. Pierce played by Robert Redford in a villainous role for a change. His group intends to use three giant drones above the earth to target anyone who doesn’t go along with them and kill them. They have millions of targets. It’s up to Captain America and Black Widow another S.H.I.E.L D. hero (played by Scarlett Johanssen) to stop this. During this quest Cap comes across his WW 11 buddy Bucky Barnes who has also been preserved and recruited by the bad guys. This brings in an interesting sub plot and an invitation to sequels.

Captain America has an alliance with a fellow current soldier who becomes The Falcon because of a backpack that converts to giant wings where he can fly around which  is also an interesting and very likable character and one to watch in future sequels.

There are also many interesting and comical lines in the film to break the tension such as when Cap and Black Widow discover the old computer system with large consoles underground she says, “Cap this system is ancient.” To many younger audiences it is ancient, but  older folks like me remember those old consoles. Also when Cap and the Falcon are  attacking  the bad guys Falcon says to him,”Cap how do we tell the good guys from the bad guys?” To which Cap replies, “If they shoot at you they’re bad guys.”

Another humorous action scene involves Cap in an elevator with about ten evil government agents out to get him surrounding him. As the elevator plummets down  Cap says, “Before we start does anyone want to get out ?” When the elevator door opens all the evildoers are knocked out on the floor with Cap remaining. 😀

The film’s directors said they based it on Obama’s kill list with drones, and all the data mining that is currently going on “[Marvel] said they wanted to make a political thriller,” Joe Russo, who directed the film with his brother Anthony, tells Mother Jones. “So we said if you want to make a political thriller, all the great political thrillers have very current issues in them that reflect the anxiety of the audience…That gives it an immediacy, it makes it relevant. So [Anthony] and I just looked at the issues that were causing anxiety for us, because we read a lot and are politically inclined. And a lot of that stuff had to do with civil liberties issues, drone strikes, the president’s kill list, preemptive technology”—all themes they worked into the film, working closely with screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

In The Winter Soldier, Captain America and the rest of the heroes (played by Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, and so on) confront the government program Project Insight, which involves three Helicarriers (gigantic autonomous killer drones, basically) that are fed large amounts of data and intel. The Helicarriers process the data to identify and preemptively eliminate potential threats to national and global security. And though the film’s topical parts were all crafted prior to the NSA revelations, the directors say it’s no accident that data mining is a key element of the plot: “

Before  anyone sees this film I suggest you see the first one as there ar e several references to the first I forgot about and had to be reminded of such as his buddy Bucky.

The Four Blood Moons

This year and next year in 2015 there will be four lunar eclipses which some believe will enter in the end of times. I’m a good Christian, but not a head for the hills type, but you can’t deny certain signs that are foretold in the bible.  Signs such as changes in the weather, earthquakes, tornadoes, tsunamis, wars and rumors of wars, the middle East in turmoil and on fire all are biblical prophecies. Below are some links and articles I found explaining this phenomenon.  I report you decide. 😉

All these signs, coming together at one time, are potentially the culminating signals that God is closing this chapter of human history,” declares pastor Mark Biltz, author of the brand-new book and DVD, 

“This could be the final curtain call before the Great Tribulation mentioned in the Bible. God has always wanted to warn His people, and the rest of the world, before He intervenes. What better way to communicate to us than through the universal language of heavenly signs that speak to every tribe, tongue, and nation?”

In the Old Testament, the prophet Joel states, “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.” (Joel 2:31)

In the New Testament, Jesus is quoted as saying, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light … And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” (Matthew 24:29-30)

“Four total lunar eclipses happening the next two years herald possible war in the Middle East as well as global economic collapse,” he told WND.

He says historically, these types of solar eclipses have been signs, foretelling important events such as the destruction of the Temple of Jerusalem.

“Two happened right in a row at the time of destruction of the temple in 70 A.D. and on feast days,” he said.

“Around eight months before the Temple was destroyed we find on 10/18/69 there was a partial lunar eclipse on the Feast of Sukkot. A total solar eclipse followed this on Nisan 1-3/30/70, the beginning of the religious year. Two weeks later there was a penumbral lunar eclipse on Passover on 4/14/70. An annular solar eclipse followed this on Rosh Hashanah on 9/23/70. Then another penumbral lunar eclipse on Sukkot on 10/8/70,” he explained.

Biltz stresses what makes the coming events so startling is the fact they’ll take place during the Feast of Passover and Feast of Tabernacles in consecutive years.

“This has happened only eight times over the last 2,000 years!” Biltz said. “And the last two times these occurred on the Jewish holidays there was a war in the Middle East regarding the nation of Israel. These are patterns and historical facts that cannot be disregarded. The Jewish Talmud records that total lunar eclipses are indicators or omens for the nation of Israel.”

The April 15 eclipse marks the start of a lunar tetrad. That event occurs when there are four successive total lunar eclipses, with no partial lunar eclipses in between, each of which is separated from the other by six full moons.

A book out last year, Four Blood Moons: Something is about to change, suggests the event could be a fulfillment of biblical prophecy.

In it, John Hagee writes that the red disks of the moon during the full eclipses are referred to in the book of Joel 2:31: “The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.”

The other three eclipses of this lunar tetrad are on Oct. 8 of this year and then April 8 and Sept. 28 of 2015.

Tetrads are by no means unknown, says Byrd. There will be a total of eight lunar tetrads between 2001 and 2100.

Another Fort Hood Shooting And Obama’s Saul Alinsky Policies

Another shooting at Fort Hood has again stirred attention on military bases where guns are prohibited. The alleged shooter, Army Spc. Ivan A. Lopez, had been under treatment but had yet to be diagnosed officially with PTSD. But Master Sgt. C.J. Grisham pointed out in a WND commentary Thursday that there have been nearly two dozen shootings at military bases since the policy went into effect, including the 2009 attack at the same Texas post that killed 14 people, including an unborn baby. Maj. Nidal Hasan reportedly launched the attack with a shout of “Allahu akbar,” or “Allah is supreme.” Grisham pointed out that all of the shootings took place in “gun-free zones.” “Every single one of these shootings happened at a place where the very people trained to deal with armed attackers were defenseless against an armed attacker,” he said. Once again the anti-gun people are out protesting saying access to guns are too easy. Well I guess then access to pressure cookers in the Boston Marathon bombing was too easy. Access to fertilizer in Oklahoma City bombing was too easy and access to box cutters in 9/11 was too easy if that’s the case. Obama made a brief statement about the incident and then was off to a fund raiser just like he did with Benghazi. It’s obvious from his policies and cutbacks and attitude that he doesn’t care about our military. Even taking  down our missile bases outside of Poland that were protecting them from Russia and now Putin’s expansion and cutting back and ceasing our tomahawk missile defense, the strongest and best missiles we have in our defense. Other countries are building up while he is cutting back. Obama is putting us in grave danger in today’s world especailly when you have countries like Iran saying they are going to blow Isreal off the map and cripple us and Putin expanding in Russia and challenging us.

Speaking of Obama putting us in grave danger, I think this is all part of his plan to destroy us and make us a socialist state which he is doing. This is the hope and change he was talking about. He is making us weak in the eyes of the world and Putin and countries like Iran know he’s not going to do anything. Isreal has already said they can’t depend on us to defend them.

Obama was a disciple of radical community organizer like him Saul Alinsky. He even taught courses in Saul Alinsky. Saul David Alinsky (January 30, 1909 – June 12, 1972) was an American community organizer and writer. He is generally considered to be the founder of modern community organizing. He is often noted for his book Rules for Radicals. From that book here are Saul’s thoughts on how tocreate a social state: There are 8 levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state. The first is the most important.

1) Healthcare –Control healthcare and you control the people.

2) Poverty – Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.

3) Debt –Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

4) Gun Control – Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.

5) Welfare – Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income)

6) Education – Take control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn in school.

7) Religion – Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools.

8) Class Warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.
